PRACTICE STATEMENT

Chin was formerly the managing director and founder of MAA Space where he partnered Arkitek MAA and in 2012 he decided to venture under his own hence CHINPAKLOONG Architect. He has exposure in both local and international architecture and interior projects mainly in Malaysia, China, Australia, Thailand and Middle East. His firm has completed a string of Hospitality, Entertainment, Leisure and Lifestyle projects. They are currently involved in the Genting Outdoor Theme Park (formerly known as the 20th Century FOX Theme Park) and other hotel, resort and shopping center.
In their design studio they believe design matters: “thinking out of the box” where they question and provide design solutions through collaborative design crit.
