Mr Tan Tek Jin, founder of Kim Hoe Thye Industries Sdn Bhd started his business as a hardware shop in Muar, Johor in 1945. In year 2009, GREENCON was built to produce Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) blocks coherence to sustainable building materials. In late 2017, Kim Hoe Thye Industries Sdn Bhd have acquired Henner (previously known as CSR) to cater the growing demand from market for AAC blocks and panels.

Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) is a lightweight cellular material which is formed by a chemical reaction between finely divided calcareous and siliceous materials. It comes in 600 x 200 with a thickness of 100mm, 125mm, 150mm and 200mm. This block can be used for both internal and external. AAC has various of benefits such as speedy installation, energy saving, cost effectiveness,
fire rating and lightweight.
