The ROCKWOOL Group of Companies is the world’s largest producer of stone wool insulation, founded in 1937 and headquartered in Denmark. ROCKWOOL Asia was established in December 2010 through the merger of two established stone wool manufacturers. Stone wool insulation from ROCKWOOL Asia uses the ROXUL® brand and offers consistent and lasting performance in fire, thermal and acoustics.
ROCKWOOL Malaysia Sdn Bhd has two stone wool factories, one located in Klang and the other in Melaka. Some of the most prestigious buildings and major industrial installations in Malaysia were insulated by ROCKWOOL. This includes energy generation projects such as Manjung and Tanjung Bin Power Station, petrochemical plants like the Malaysian LNG at Bintulu and Malacca Refinery as well as commercial buildings like the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) and Malaysia’s Zero Energy Office.

All our products are tested for non-combustibility in accordance with BS, EN and ASTM standards. They are listed in SIRIM and PSB for non-combustible rating and classified as Green Products in accordance with SGBC (Singapore Green Building Council). We also offer acoustic and industrial heat loss calculations upon request.
